    Managing Veterinarian

    Vernon Hills Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced veterinarian who is ready to take your career to the next level and lead our team of dedicated professionals! We are seeking a personable, enthusiastic, and motivated doctor to join our busy practice as the Managing Veterinarian.

    The Associate Veterinarian will need an educational background of at least:

    • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent from an accredited university.

    Customer Service Representative

    Responsibilities include scheduling appointments; checking in and checking out clients; answering the telephone; setting up new clients and patients; preparation and maintenance of medical records; client communication; filling prescriptions; over the counter sales; mailing; computer operation; financial transactions; filing; and front office and reception area maintenance.

    Veterinary Technician/Assistant

    Technicians are responsible for assisting the doctors; laboratory procedures; radiology; client communication; medical procedures; pharmacy; operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment; inventory; stocking supplies; daily treatment of hospitalized patients; assisting in the operating room; maintenance of the OSHA and Hazardous Materials programs; and hospital maintenance.

    Ward Attendant

    Responsibilities include keeping the animal hospital clean inside and out; feeding, watering, and walking hospitalized patients; stocking supplies; laboratory procedures; and assisting the technicians, assistants, and doctors.
